Hey, my name is Ali!

Ali is coming from Farahan, in Markazi province. He has been diagnosed with leukemia when he was 4 and has been under chemotherapy and radiotherapy since then. He has been under treatment for the past 18 months.

Ali’s father is a worker, he earns approximately 300 $ a month. However, the cost of the medicines required for Ali’s treatment is around 1500 $ a month (Daunorubicin, Romiplostim). During this time, the doctors couldn’t prescribe him high-quality medications. Thus, they had to use alternative low-quality medications. As a result, Ali got blind and his liver was significantly damaged. If doctors can cure his cancer, they can start another course of treatment to recover Ali’s vision. Continuing the treatment with the current low-quality medications can lead to more extreme side effects in Ali, and possibly, death.

Ali’s biggest ambition is to help his father in farm work, and he dreams of becoming a famous football player one day, to be so rich so that his family wouldn’t have to suffer anymore.

120 kids like Ali are facing a life-threatening shortage of chemotherapy medicines. Every contribution of 500 Euros extends their treatment by a month. Let’s keep their hope alive!
